Investment objective
The S&P Hedge Fund Index seeks to fully replicate the returns of the Standard & Poors Hedge Fund Index and its three sub-indices (Event-Driven, Directional/tactical, Arbitrage) which represents a total of nine investment styles. It consists of 40 underlying funds selected from a universe of 3,500. Equal weighting across all the nine styles is a key attribute.
